Clean Water For All With Hydraid Biosand Filter Technology

“Bringing safe water to millions”                    The program is designed to provide access to safe and affordable drinking water to rural communities through the use of Hydraid Biosand Filters. The Hydraid Biosand filter is intended for household water filtration and can provide clean water for a family of eight to ten people for more than 10 years. Hydraid filters are provided free of charge ($75 value) and installed in homes where the filter users agree to pay 1 cedi per month for the use of the Hydraid filter. The user-fee of 1 cedi goes towards a water fund, managed by the community and Shape Lives International, that goes towards Hydraid customer service and additional clean water investments in  community .
